Hemberger’s Blasted Farm, Inc. is a consolidated Corporation of two entities. In 1978, Jerry and De Anne Hemberger started a farming business they first shared under the wings of Jerry’s Father. As the family grew, we decided income from another source would be important to survive the ’80s. Jerry was interested in painting and began painting projects for hire in a two car garage in 1981. As the business grew, we moved into a larger building and added sandblasting to our services. This expanded our capabilities in such a way that we knew we would grow out of the current building in short time. In addition it was our desire to take the weather out of the equation and take projects from start to finish under one roof. Our dream came true in 1997 when we built our current 9,000 sq. ft. building seen on the right. Sandblasting is done in the first room, then the project is moved into the adjoining room for finish coating. Throughout the years, there were many projects that needed a less abrasive metal preparation that we could not provide until 2006. We purchased a soda blasting machine that provided the service we had been looking for. In 2008, Powder Coating was added to the line of business and with that an additional 3,000 sq. feet were closed in to accommodate for the segregation of processes. We have increased our capacity throughout the years and are excited to share our history and future with you for years to come. Through the years we have made many good friends in the business.
